Of the 954 and the 929 - I preferred the 929 - merely because I didn't have to take off the whole freaking side fairing to change the oil... a removable lower is a fantastic thing...

Why would you have to remove the side fairing? I just undone the bottom plastic thinggys and loosened the drain plug and drained the oil and the filter was not an issue either.

removing fairings and plastic thingies to do an oil change the only things you need to remove to do an oil change on a 929 are the drain bolt, oil filter and filler plug.
