| New Site Owner Hello,
I just wanted to advise all of our members and guests that fireblades.org has a new site owner (that would be me) I've been on bikes for as long as I can remember but mostly in the dirt racing supercross & motocross at club level, as part of this venture I am going to go out and make my first decent road bike purchase. (I am still looking at the many options) The previous owner of the site was by his own admission more of an investor than an enthusiast so it is my hope that I can bring something to the table as a fellow rider. I've been posting on here for a short while to get a feel for what the site is about, it's not my intention to make any great changes as fireblades is a great site as it stands so it's business as usual.
Safe riding to all of you and thanks for taking the time to read this post. I will keep you posted on my test riding.
Craig. |

I am pretty sure I would be out of my depth on the big CBR so the 600 will be first on the list - I also love the European rides so I will be checking a couple of those over. |

The first thing you should do as owner is BAN both Sinfuldragon and Quick 26!!
Those guys post WAY too much.
And yeah, get a CBR600 and I promise you won't regret it. I've had a couple of them. They've always been great, reliable, comfortable rides. |

If there are any changes in the site I hope they are for the better! I agree with Quick JeepinJeff is kinda on the slow side so be easy on him.

| Re: New Site Owner There are a few comments here - firstly I don't think I will be rushing to ban anyone lol.. I am sure the mods are all over the bad guys... As far as changes to the site go it's like this - anything we change can be un changed if does not fly with the users but I will say again the site is not broken so we have no plans to fix it. As far as the bike purchase goes, well I would have responded to this post sooner but I have been out kicking tyres... Thanks once again for your support I will do my best to keep this show going in the right direction. |

| Re: New Site Owner I'm not putting anyone down but if freakin' told you guys about fireblades donations. I said back then " hell yeah if 1000 people offered to give me $10 each for no good reason I'd take it too." It's a business, as revealed the last owner was an "investor" that didn't really care about your hobby.
I'm not against a new owner who rides a bike also. I was just complaining that some folks a while back were gripping why others don't contribute the $10 or $15 to become a member. I offer good, free technical advice for folks like me who don't have the money to pay a mechanic $80 an hour. That my friend is my contribution to this website and I do it gladly |
