I am running XP and my computer is getting pretty slow on the startup. I think there is a bunch of crap auto loading at startup. Where do I go to get rid of it?

you can do it a couple ways -

try this. once your programs are up and running you can right click on them and remove them from it, if that is not an option then you will have to go into the program itself, goto properties and find where it says load on startup or put in system tray.

which programs are you trying to squash?
