Like what? I grew up around guns and have never understood the fear (except when they've been pointed at me), so I'd like to hear your perspective. |

| Re: The gun show Hey figment, if you ever run across a good deal on Beta-C's like the one on your AR pistol... lemme know because I've been looking for one for my M4 and everyone I come across is way too spendy.
BTW, great collection and damn glad to see there are others with the same passion for things that go bang.

I grew up around guns as well. I was just never into them. I like to go to the gun range and squeeze off a couple of rounds. But I have never purchased a gun. When I see so many guns of devestation like figment has, it just makes me wonder how many people out their have a gun fetish. No offence figment.
I am not in favor of gun control, but the sight of those killing machines are frightening. |

| Re: The gun show Anybody into m-14's? I don't know anything about them. My martial arts instructor was in 'Nam and said he had one then that he really liked and has considered buying one, but he's just not really into guns anymore and doesn't seem real motivated. I don't know anything about the weapon personally and am curious.

| Re: The gun show Springfield lists $1727, but they can be had for much less.
Sportingarms lists the Scout for around $1300. I'd guess they could do a SOCOM for about the same.
But the fifty and Garand are going to more than take all my gun funds for 05.
