I tried to replace a battery for my craftman drill and they told me it was $70 to replace. I bought the drill for $90. |

| Re: dayum craftsman products as a contractor I'd recommend getting a real drill like a dewalt or milwaukee. Craftsman makes fine hand tools but makes crappy power tools. Also, who needs a lawn mower, pave the whole damn yard! |

If and when the battery dies, no matter how long it takes, you can bring it back and get a whole new drill. Same goes for the lawn mower. Costco's return policy is all but non-existent. You can bring ANYTHING back! |

Hell no man. A true mechanical engineer wants a MACHINE, not a couple of magnets and some electrified wire! Either that, or one of those robot ones that cuts the grass automatically. (a group did that as their final project when I was in college)
Besides, I pour race gas in mine so I feel like I'm at the track.

Also, who needs a lawn mower, pave the whole damn yard! | I got a Dewalt cordless screwdriver. One of the best things for fixing little stuff around the house that I ever got! Made hanging blinds a breeze! I just got attachments so I can use sockets with it now, too.
I have a black & decker corded drill and it drives me nuts. Next on the powertool list is a good cordless drill, probably a Dewalt! |

| Re: dayum craftsman products Quit whining this is an opportunity to get some tools You need to get a whole set of cordless tools. I got the Ryobi box before Chirstmas and it is nice for my occasional use
