I found this on www.slickdeals.net and thought I would share. I just ordered a Sportster to put up against my XM Roady. Ill leave one in my personal car, and the other in the patrol car. Looks good, but the fine print is you have to subscribe for a year. But still a deal.

Where did you see that? I went all through the process and saw nothing indicating a one year contract. I paid the 3 mos up front, and thats all that I found.

Mine is in addition to the Roady.... for now... I just read the whole thread there and a couple of guys have called and confirmed that you are only committed to the 3 months, no yearly membership needed.

I have XM in the car, and Sirius on the Dish at home (comes with it for free). After surveying Sirius's channels, I like it better, much better. They are coming out with Mobile TV (I have no need), just signed Howard Stern, and are really going after it, seems like a company that is busting ass!

damn, I am so pissed. I wanted to get one of these, went to the site this morning but was running late for work so I didn't complete transaction. Now the deal is no longer valid, at least the 106 code isn't doing anything. SOB, I missed out on the deal!  | |

Call Sirius and tell them that you wanted to get in on it, but experienced tech difficulties. Maybe they'll give it to you any way.

I'm stuck with XM in the truck for now which is too bad since Sirius has a much better selection of Rock stations.
I wonder if they make a XM to Sirius conversion kit for GM vehicles. I really don't want to replace the head unit.
