Tippmann paintball guns - My son's A5 has withstood his abuse, not a small feat if you know my son, and my 98 is unbreakable. All others in the house are aways needing some sort of babying. You just come home, clean up your Tippmann and are ready for the next game. My next gun will be an A5, assuming I ever tire of my 98.

Re: Products you can HIGHLY recommend.

I see alot of people prefer the Oakley glasses. Step away from the Kool Aid please. They do look good. Next time you get a chance or looking for a new pair of Sun shades try a pair of Maui Jim's. Light and provide excellent glare protection. I have worn Ray Ban, Oakleys, Revos, etc... but nothing compares to Maui's.

Re: Products you can HIGHLY recommend.

Donjoy Armor knee braces.

They have cut outs on the inner side to clear the gas tank on dirt bikes.

If you get the impact guards it's a great integrated knee/calf protection system too.

I got my pair for less than half the price of my extremely expensive and overrated CTi and it is far superior protection. It also fits better despite not being "custom" for my knee.

Only downside of the Donjoy compared to the CTi is that it sticks out more in "regular" clothes. But on the bike or doing sports, it's actually much less intrusive.

They don't look terribly impressive. Most of us speccing Oakleys by model are calling out the X-metal/Titanium models. Not very light weight (for glasses), but very sturdy and highly stylized. I've never seen a surface that even compares to the "Ruby Iridium" lenses I have.
The Oakley factory is right up the street from me and I can pickup anything I want....

Yep, Ruby iridium. Best lens in a sunglass bar none.

I've had 3 pairs now...and recently just bought a pair of Arnettes to get me by until I find them in the store again.

They're getting harder to find, I've heard Oakley has yield problems with them...

They discontinued my Mars frames a shortwhile after they discontinued the Ruby Iridiums. They didn't have many other models with them to start. Check Ebay... I just noticed three pairs of ruby lenses for the Mars up there....

Re: Products you can HIGHLY recommend.

They're not bad tanks. Just as a rule, real plain rectangle boxes. Made with normal "green" glass. Their bowfront tanks are pretty cool. I have one of their 7 gals.

Starphire glass is 30% clearer. And you go custom so you get your tank sized right to the room, you get good overflow design to your sump below etc etc.

The glass is made by PPG, here's their brochure with some pics showing the difference.

In a salt water tank where colors are incredible, you really notice it.

I haven't had a starphire tank yet, but I've had acrylic, and you can really notice the clarity.
