Looking for tips on how to heal broken bones quickly
I went to a Manditory Team Building meeting last Wednesday off site at City Beach (indoor volleyball, basketball, ping pong, pool tables and such). Landed wrong, dislocated and then snapped back into place was my ankle. But in the process, I broke my outside meditarcel (Bone from pinky toe to ankle).
So I go to the Workman's comp health care. They put a removable cast on me, gave me some Motrin and Viccadins, and put me back to work. Zero days off. The crutches are getting painful, my foot is an abortion of what it once looked like, I got bruises going up to my knee, and all I can think about is that I can't put any pressure on it for six weeks. Then the fun starts as I try to strengthen the leg and work out the sprain. SO...
Besides calcium, what else can I do to promote quicker bone healing? Beuler? Anyone?
