| Re: Dirty Neighbors I had a neighbour similar to this in Columbus, Ga. It was with cars and an old above ground pool, after talking to the husband which did no good. It was the wives that got the situation rectified after about a couple of months of pressure. Try the female approach, this guy may feel like he is trying to be bullied by the neighbourhood guys. Then if that fails, i would follow the guy to church and privately speak to his pastor asking him to speak to this dirtbag reminding him cleanliness is next to godliness and embarass him this way. |

| Re: Dirty Neighbors But there is nothing in the Bible that states that cleanliness is next to Godliness. Nothing. That wouldn't work. |

Buy a goat to eat all the grass(this will also stop the kid problem rednecks are prone to scewin goats) Take a pic of him and his new lover in the act then turn him in
You could make a 10' high vine fence all around his house.
You could take an full page add in the local news paper with pics of his house and detaled info on the subject, title it My redneck inbred neibor then buy him a copy |

Maybe if you talk to his pastor? | With ya, JD. I am very much a dog lover (to the extent of the law and not beyond it!) and would rather rescue the dog from Hammer's neighbors rather than see it die. Although it would probably be classified as a mercy killing considering its living conditions.
Anyway, I still say get this scumbag on TV. We see it here from time to time in CLE and you'd be surprised the reaction from the local governments once fellow citizens see how they are "allowing" some residents to live. Methinks Hammer may get more support from them if it appears that city council or legislative boards are allowing residents to live that way. Once again, just my |

| Re: Dirty Neighbors My "Good" neighbor on the other side is allowing the Planning commission to go and do their thing till the end of August and then he is contacting a few TV stations to air the dirty neighbor story. I called the planning commission today just before noon today to speak with Kenny Hale Planning commission director but he had a noon appointment and did not return my call today. I also called the Fire Marshalls office, it was after buisness hours and I left a message for them to call back and a description of my call complaint. The way I am approaching it is, if he has a non conforming use on his property and that is buisness waste it is now a fire hazzard and should be dealt with.
Who knows....... |

| Re: Dirty Neighbors It has been "Better" if I would have to classify it one way or another but still some has room for improvement. He has gotten a job atleast, works at a grocery store and rides a moped to work with no tail lights. Cops don't seem to care either. I did call BTW, just being a concerned citizen ya know. He did get most of the wood and debris picked up but still has a mess in the yard. I will have to take some pics tomorrow and post up. Most of the vehicles are out of the yard but there is a wood chipper still there, he may plant flower in it I don't know what he is going to do with it. The planning commission guy found a place for him to dump his debris but I don't think he has been doing much work in the trees lately. |

| Re: Dirty Neighbors That mess is nothing. He cuts his lawn every year, what are you worrying about. You can still walk from the backdoor to the wood pile to take a piss so there is no problem. |
