Actually in the lower levels it was real clean sounding, It had perfect marks in the quality catagory in competitions. If it was turned up the whole car vibrated and then things got distorted but you could not sit in it with it wide open.

Re: What kind of car/s do you drive?

There doesn't seem to be much love for the Land Rovers on here... but I love mine. There has really only been one big problem, and that was fixed when a new air compressor design was released. This is probably the first car I can say I will own for a long time.

It has been discussed ad nauseum:

Not sure if I want to replace or make an addition. The woman wants a TL, I'm partial to the CTS.... Maybe even a CTS-V[/quote]

Anyone have both, so I can make an informed decision? Seems to be alot of TLs on here.

I remember that post. I dont like them because of the problems and the money I spent on repairs...in a three month period about $6000 worth of problems cropped up...tranny which is a well documented failure point for the HSE...the brake caliper...also dotn lose your lug nuts...they cost about $500 to replace...windshield washer stopped working...I could go on. I bought it on impulse I hope to never make that mistake again. If it gives you no problems then its a great truck...except I hated the navigation on it. I had a 2003 that didnt have the touchscreen or the voice command. By the time you entered your destination you could have walked there. I did like the navis British accent though...

I have a 99 TL and my cousin has a 2004...I think. I think the latest generation are great cars. I cant really compare to the CTS since I dont know much about them.

Pretty telling when Consumer Reports actually calls a vehicle "unreliable".
They use that label next to never.

it's already the fastest car off the line.

Go ahead and say it....it has a 800 cc engine like the MOTOGP bike...(kinda).

I love it, it rocks!!! Can't wait for the warranty to end, so I can drop a BUSA engine in.

I saw a red one completely unmolested at the store the other day.

I almost waited to ask the guy if he wanted to sell, until I remembered I already have two fox mustangs I don't drive.

Love those cars, I like the teal one best.
