There has really only been one big problem, and that was fixed when a new air compressor design was released. This is probably the first car I can say I will own for a long time.
It has been discussed ad nauseum: http://www.fireblades.org/forums/off...ccer-moms.html |

Anyone have both, so I can make an informed decision? Seems to be alot of TLs on here. |

I remember that post. I dont like them because of the problems and the money I spent on repairs...in a three month period about $6000 worth of problems cropped up...tranny which is a well documented failure point for the HSE...the brake caliper...also dotn lose your lug nuts...they cost about $500 to replace...windshield washer stopped working...I could go on. I bought it on impulse I hope to never make that mistake again. If it gives you no problems then its a great truck...except I hated the navigation on it. I had a 2003 that didnt have the touchscreen or the voice command. By the time you entered your destination you could have walked there. I did like the navis British accent though... |

I have a 99 TL and my cousin has a 2004...I think. I think the latest generation are great cars. I cant really compare to the CTS since I dont know much about them. |

it's already the fastest car off the line.
for the first 5 feet then gets smoked by everything except lime green hatchbacks.
