i can see it now... some people (ricers) will spend all their $ on big clear rims but not enough money to upgrade their 7" front rotors and rear drums. That look annoys me

yeah but we get the "SUPER COOL" versions. Well, the Harly guys do. Won't put them on the sportbike. Ummm, just NO. Side's when you are on the roll they look invisible anyways.

at $2,000 a wheel and with the mess most brakes generate, we don’t expect to see clearly on this one anytime soon.

Why spend all that money and have nothing to look at? Is this anti-bling?

If I had known you wanted to do that, I would have sold you a couple of those rims I have in the backyard, but it sounds like you already have a full set. I would have made you a great deal because you're a mod...shipping only! They are kinda rusty...and have a few dents because I've been using them for target practice, but I've used nothing bigger than a .45. All it would take would be some new valve stems and they'd be good to go.

I know it's hard to decide how to mount only two new wheels...front or back, hmmm However, I figured out how to do this. Put them both on the right or left side of the car, that way it doesn't matter. Old bling spinners on one side, new bling 14s on the other.

Wait a second, I've just talked myself out of this deal. I think I'll mount them on my Z06 in the spring. All I need to do is find a salvage yard to get two more because I'm a purist when it comes to my cars.

Oh, one more thing seamus. Did you consider mounting one of the clear wheels on the spare and hanging that on the back of the Caravan? Bitchin'.

Last edited by maxib : 12-05-2006 at 12:42 PM. Reason: Nevermind that 22s on one side and 14s on the other cause excessive tire wear. Rubber is relatively cheap.
