I did the 'whats hacked you off today' thread in general discussion as the thing that hacked me off was bike related.. I think we should have a thread for the other side of the coin.. the good stuff thats happened to us, the things that have made us laugh or smile , the good news thread..

I'm planning a bike trip for Sunday again,can't wait.I did a trip last Sunday ( with my new engine in the bike) and I found the bike wheeling out of the throttle in first gear,what a rush.Go up to 3000rpm,back off and then whack it,and the front wheel picks up oooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaagggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh, better than sex,,,,,,,,,oh well ok,not really,but close

I have redlined it up to 5th gear Twincam,and it is orgasmic,the bike has been run in so its ok.As a rule I dont like wheeling the bike,especialy by dropping the clutch,it just stuffes up everything,front shocks,sprockets etc,but it is a great feeling.I used to have a 1200 Bandit and that bike could wheelie out of the throttle in first gear at almost any rpm,but Im a bit more carefull now,anyway the Blade just wants to bugger off too fast to want to still wheelie,great bike,love it

If you don't want full acceleration, you could always change the sprokets/gearing so you get a higher top speed and a more low revving bike?

The 954RRs are lovely bikes, just seeing mine in the garage up on its stand makes me just want to get it out and blast down the motorway!

I'm well chuffed.. it means I will have a girls jacket, which fits properly, rather than a unisex one..

Plus it comes with removable inner lining and all the armour apart from the back protector..
