That is a stunningly fast motorcycle and a fearless, skillful rider. |

Anyone doing that chit on the street deserves to be removed from the gene pool, hopefully without taking an innocent with himself/herself.
Sorry - that is all... |

Sorry - that is all... | Baccus, I don't have a clue why you're disappointed. I mean, all I did was post the doggone video. Never espoused that he was a responsible motorcyclist or good citizen for what he does. In fact, I called into question his mental health. I did make a comment that he must be a fairly skillful rider (I'm pretty sure I and many others on this board couldn't control a motorcycle as powerful as that one), but beyond it, what the heck did I say that you found offensive? |

Better be careful Surfr, we police officers apparently cannot post or comment on this sort of stuff.
No, I'm plenty happy with my FZ just the way it is, no turbo necssary. |

| Re: I have seen the devil At the risk of offending anyone (I'm a cop, therefore I shouldn't be talking about this guy, ehhh, I guess anyway)...
I've done a little digging on our friend "Ghost Rider" and it would seem he's something of a legend in his home country of Germany.
Here's his website: http://www.ghostridermovie.net
Ghost Rider is rumored to post occasionally on sportrider.net and a German television show recently did a story on his antics. This clip is not in English, but you'll get the idea and you'll see some more video of his outlaw behavior on two wheels. http://webmaster.pornostarmusic.com/fun/ghostrider.wmv
He apparently toys with the European police and, because his identity isn't known by authorities, he routinely evades capture on his 500 horsepower 'busa. I imagine if he's familiar with the roadway he finds himself on, he could outrun everyone including typical civilian LE air support.

Nothing against you for posting about him, but he's a dumbass.

| Re: I have seen the devil I can't believe you guys haven't heard of the "ghostrider". When the 1st DVD came out, people were freaking out at his antics.
I can't say I 100% approve of his behaviour, but you have to at least grudgingly say he's got balls. He was weaving between cars on his GSXR1000 w/ the digital speedos pegged at 299.
What freaks me out is that the chase bike is showing 279, and buddy is one-wheeling past him like he was doing 40-50kph.
Damn, that's hella crazy. |

Damn, that's hella crazy. | Those numbers could be just about anything depending on gearing but they were definitely moving, no doubt about that. When he does paste himself to something I hope he's the only one hurt. |

| Re: I have seen the devil A little more than halfway through the video I nearly lost it. Literally, I saw something that gave me chest pains and I thought I was having a heart attack.
ghostie, with the camera bike behind him was passing a lane of cars. No, I'm not talking about weaving from lane to lane between cars, a little later than that. They were really bookin it when a car from the right lane began to change lanes into the camera bike just as he was at the left rear quarter of the cage.
You know how time really slows down just before something bad is about to happen? That's what happened to me. This was going to be a major catastrophe, but it didn't happen. I realised the double bubble optics of the windscreen just made it look like the cage was changing lanes.
Anyone else notice this? |

Just remember folks, TB's 9 o' clock show is completely different from the 7 o' clock show. Remember to tip your waiter and try the veal. He'll be here all week |
