| On the Way to a Full Scale "Trade War" ? It seems like this stuff is coming up daily as the EU tries to assert its power. US Tariff http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...de_eu_usa_dc_2 Then the story seems to have been pulled, but the US is rejecting the import of Fois Gras from France after they decided they won't import chickens and eggs due to bird flu. Anyone have an opinion on the whole mess... | |

At a danger of exposing my lack of understanding of world economics, why can the WTO declare tax rates or changes illegal, and how does our tax breaks affect the EU? Usually, I am fan of team play, but as far as this goes, my gut is to say, "F*ck 'em." |

Every ruling against the states have been on issues that they have started, such as the failure to drop acts which were created almost 90 years ago, and again the steel tarriffs. | |
