| Old School Democrat, Senator Miller, on Terror and the 911 Commission Not a new school Socialist, I mean Democrat, but a person from the days when democrats represented people who actually worked. http://miller.senate.gov/floor/03-30-04sept11com.html

| Re: Old School Democrat, Senator Miller, on Terror and the 911 Commission Too bad this guy is a democrat. I think he would have made a fine president. But it would've been difficult for him to win when his own party wouldn't have voted for him.
He is a brilliant speaker, and I need to get off my ass and pick up his book. |

| Yep. Some of it. This is truly one of the most articulate and intelligent minds in politics today. She was amazing. The best part coming when she shoved Kerrey's face in **** about his speech concerning Saddam and the attack on the USS Cole. Classic!!!! |

| Re: Old School Democrat, Senator Miller, on Terror and the 911 Commission DAMN! I wish I would have watched it (too much work). I hear Zell Miller is a real traditiona Demo, not a socialist pinko panzy like the limo-left we have now... back in JFK's time for the most part, it seems that the parties were reversed.. Demos were more like Reps and vis-versa.
Although JFK had his mis-dealings with women (or so they say) and his brother is the biggest f*ckup in the Senate he had the balls and the smarts to do the right thing at the right time.
Too bad the Democratic party is not more like JFK or Zell... they would not be half-bad... insted of like they are now.. half-baked. |

| Re: Old School Democrat, Senator Miller, on Terror and the 911 Commission The best part about the whole thing was that the demos never really wanted her to testify. She had already told them everything she reiterated in her first seesion with them. All they wanted to do was use her refusal to do it again against Bush. This whole commision is a Bush hate-fest, they don't care at all about the truth and who was really at fault.
But, since they claim (and all the liberal media does too) that they are completely neutral and non-partisan, how soon will it be before they demand that klinton and gore testify publicly? Now that the two of them have had the same meeting Dr. Rice already had, will they call those two worthless blow-hards to testify in front of the cameras?
Absolutely not!!!
They never wanted Rice to testify, and when she decided to do it - although the Constitution states she not only didn't have to, but shouldn't have - they decided to try and clown her. Instead, the moronic left got clowned.
I can guarantee right now that after Bush and Cheney have their closed door meeting with this witch-hunt group, the clowns will be screaming to have Bush testify in front of the cameras, too.
The left's hole deepens and deepens every day, and it's great. |

This whole commision is a Bush hate-fest,
| And all this time I thought that Dan Dierdorf was the master of the obvious.
Yes, Kerrey yesterday proved beyond a shadow of doubt how "neutral" this group was with his childish little opening statment concerning the war in Iraq.
What that had to do with the 9/11 hearings is beyond me? Idiots. Although I must admit that I'm enjoying watching this party destroy itself. It's slowly coming completely unhinged by all it's hatred for President Bush.
Yippppeeeeeeee!!!!!! |

To even use the word "truth" in the same paragraph speaking on behalf of the current administration is sheer ludicrousness! TAKE THE PHUCKING BLINDERS OFF PLEASE! Ask the entire world what they think of America right now. And don't waste your time with the favor of a retort BDA because, "that is all" .
But I know you'll just have to try anyway . |

Ask the entire world what they think of America right now.
| So the worlds opinion of America decides whether or not the Bush admin is telling the truth? |

Well, being a newbie here, perhaps I should find out where everybody is at before making such statements.
My apologies. |

| Re: Old School Democrat, Senator Miller, on Terror and the 911 Commission Bacchy is as blinded by Bush hatred as the rest of them, Mo.
The rest of the world's opinion is worth no more than a bucket of horseshit. Our President is not in office to make them happy or better off.
The word truth fits in better with the current administration than the last. The klinton administration never knew the meaning of the word truth.
Are they 100% truthful? No. Is any President's administration? No. But that's just one of the reasons the left wing freaks hate the current administration. They are more honest, and actually do what they say they will do.
And no, the world's opinion has nothing to do with Bush and truth - just as the commission has nothing to do with truth.
And in all honesty, the more the losers in the Axis of Weasels don't like us, the better.
Let's all pretend for a minute that the dems are actually right (wich is what they do every minute of every day). The Bush administration has 100% factual proof that terrorists are going to hijack commercial planes and use them as missiles.
September 10, 2001 George Bush comes on TV and tells the world that we know there is an attack, and all US airports will be shut down. No air traffic of any kind, or it gets shot down. He also states the intel shows Bin Laden is behind it, so we will destroy Afghanistan and kill Bin Laden.
Everything is averted, no one dies on 9/11/01 and we still have the twin towers.
Now, what do you think the dems would have done then? Damn straight they would have cried foul and even called for impeachment. Show us the proof! We don't believe you! They wouldn't have been happy, they would be pissed.
And if you're so concerned with the world opinion, what do you think it would be like then?
Why was pre-emption the right thing to do now in hindsight? Before it happened, it wouldn't have been alright. It wasn't alright with Iraq, although it was with Kosovo.
The whole commission is based on lies and hate. They could care about the truth as much as John ****ing Kerry. It is the whole premise of the liberal socialist party. Truth matters not, hatred and fear are the keys.
Problem is, all their followers are too blinded to see the truth. |

The *world* as in UN or the *world* as in those thugs that are still killing our civilians on purpose?? The *world* like parts of Afrika where women are stoned to death!?!?! or girl's gentalia is routinly mutiliated?!?! Yeah.. we should worry about what that *world* thinks... |

My apologies. | Nah, speak *your* mind and let the chips fall where thay may. Just be prepared to defend (if you feel inclined to do so) what you said.
Many here remember my know that my position on a few things dealing with two wheels is vastly different from the rest of the board. I suspect that may be similar in the area of politics, but since this mainly is a motorcycle forum, I don't dabble in the political arena here. |

| Re: Old School Democrat, Senator Miller, on Terror and the 911 Commission I finally got to see a bit more of the 9/11 panel coverage, and the resulting neo-liberal media news propaganda.
Am I the only one that noticed the building Dumbocrat contradiction?
There have been several criticisms from the left that question why certain safeguards were not put into place pre 9/11......the very same ones that are now addressed by the Patriot Act. Meanwhile, John Kerredy is out on the campaign trail demonizing it.....
What gives....?
