Good post Skully. I didn't or can't vote on the poll. Difficult decisions have to be made by those who, I hope, REALLY know what they're doing. To those who so easily say, keep fighting, don't give up the fight. Well, you're playing serious high stakes poker, not with someone else's money, but someone else's life. Or I should say, possibly hundreds, even thousands of lives while sitting in a comfy cubicle typing on a message board. Maybe some of the combat experienced soldiers should vote on questions such as this. WE (the general public) didn't make the decision to invade. We agreed with our President and his advisors decision to go (sending thousands of our men and women in harm's way) but later found we may have been misled (but that's another story). When a 5 star general asks for 10,000 more troops and advises he expects a casualty rate of maybe 10% to 15%, I don't want to be the one saying "that's acceptable, send them in". What a freakin mess. I truly hope Blair and Bush know what they're doing.
