| Re: Doing the work of... Okay, so it's backwards on all right sleeves of uniforms, but that doesn't answer my question. Is it the opposite on the left sleeve? And if so, why not the reverse?
I knew there was proper etiquette about the orientation of flags, but I always thought that it was that the stars should be on the right when looking directly at it. |

The flag is oriented to show the soldier is moving FORWARD. Not in retreat.
