Most people who know me would classify me as a borderline tree hugger. But I base my complaints on fact, not on intuition.

The preceding is talking point #1 for global warming naysayers at the National Center for Public Policy Research. Apparently this august body is too stupid to realize that their first talking point implies that the argument cited by the "Institut" is whether global warming is going to be nasty or deadly. The very argument illustrates the consensus that global warming is a fact. Duh! "What a bunch of moroons..." --To quote Bugs Bunny.

L2L, the Earth is not some shithouse that gets pumped out occasionally by an unfortunate dude desperate to pay the rent. If the crap comes in at a faster rate than can be naturally absorbed or leaked it will cause a **** overload. Now you can argue about determining the rate that **** can be absorbed or scrubbed by natural dynamics but sometimes ya just gotta look out the freakin' window. Or you could read this:

I think what Zen is trying to say is that it's a bad idea to piss in your own swimming pool when there is no filter.

As for global warming... The earth is round. E = + OR - MC^2 only when momentum is nill and the earth is heating up like a green house. There may not be one cause, but you'll find that pollution (both regular and LTL's favourite topic thermal pollution) is the largest, human controlled cause.

As far as Bush and sincere is concerned... is it possible to be sincere about loving your country but a lying bastid also? There is no way he got to be president by being sincere and truthful... Like Johnny Upstanding ever has a shot at the leading the country. HA.
