| Re: Oopsie Let's wait and see what comes from this. My guess is that you're going to have some people claiming that we planted them, while others saying that they were brought in from another country in response to our invasion.
I personally have always thought that Saddam either hid whatever he had OR found a way to hide them in Syria. The idea that he somehow disarmed without bothering to prove that he did so - which would have eased the pressure from the UN and the US - is silly to me.
The part of the story indicating that the mustard gas that was launched was ineffective because it was stored improperly could lead you to believe that they were in such a hurry to hide it that they weren't able to take whatever measures were necessary to keep it "fresh", so to speak.
Like I said, let's wait and see what happens. |

| Re: Oopsie I agree, we could find boatloads of EMPTA, trainloads of Sarin, and an entire desert full of god knows what and the only result will be for the libbyloo's to scream that the court appointed moron and his staff of evil doers had all this time to plant all of those things there.
Oh, and lets not forget WE gave all that stuff to them. Whatever, it will become a non issue no matter what they find. |

| Well sure. You have to keep in mind that these guys didn't even keep documents on all the chemical and biological agents that they possessed. |

| Re: Oopsie Read that story and that go to FoxNews and read their story on it. After reading both, can anyone honestly tell me that they believe that there isn't a bias in the media? FoxNews supports the US's claim and reports the story as such. The BBC treats it with skepticism and downplays it, with statements such as "These shells could be over a decade old and the chemicals they contain could have degraded" and "One shell clearly does not make a chemical arsenal". I can't even find the story on the front page of CNN's site.
So, either FoxNews leans towards the current administration, or the BBC's skepticism leans away from it (or the Right in general). |

Once again, what do you think happened to Saddam's stockpile? The U.N. still couldn't declare him weapons-free the last time they were in Iraq for inspections and Saddam hasn't shown any indication of disarming. Why is it so hard to believe that he had the weapons when we invaded and either destroyed them or found a way to hide them? No one has been able to give a good answer to this question. |

| Does it realy matter any more. The whole thing is f*cked up big time. Well I suppose it matters if there's an election coming up. To late for Blair though. he'll be out of office in two months. His party is going to make him walk the plank.
