| The body isn't even cold yet, and the lefties are on the attack... NPR is interesting today.... This morning an interview describing Reagan as a racist.... Right now a guest explaining that he was bad communicator... Later another program that will paint him as an eco-terrorist... Nice....

I just wanted someone to explain to me why he deserves it so much. I know so much about US history but I felt compelled to ask anyway. The funeral today was obligatory... the masses of regular citizens that waited for hours to catch a glimpse of him in state speaks volumes about what a national treasure this man was. | |

Very much tongue in cheek, but from another site I give you this (note that original posters were not being serious so put your weapons down now): Saddam was a very nice man because: Built nine bridges across the Tigris to facilitate easy movement for the peeps. Had female pilots in the air-force... and female Doctors. Had the second largest amount of doctors in the region. (Muammar won that one)... Had free University education for all. Maintained historical sites including 'The Baghdad Museum'. Wanted a non-religious state in Iraq... Basra had over 60 alcohol-selling shops... I got a lot of time for the guy, he certainly kept them mad bastard arabs in check. As soon as he was gone there they were again smacking theirselves in the head. Bring the old man back I say. |
