| U.S. hostage beheaded CCN just reported that U.S. hostage Paul Johnson was beheaded by Al Qaeda militants. They are trying to confirm the source. CNN

| Re: U.S. hostage reportedly beheaded The only thing these people understand is violence and unless they are met on their own terms they will never get it. Back in the 70's I think some militants kidnapped some Russians. The militants threatened the same thing. The Ruskies rounded up some of the militant's buds, buried them with pigs and sent their heads back to the boss militant. No one has heard of anyone messing with the Russians since. Americans should stop being so pansy azz sensitive and start meeting these street thugs in the alley and open up a can of WHOOP AZZ! Economy size none the less.
Okay, I am off the box. |

| Re: U.S. hostage reportedly beheaded Yea, I read that as well. Saudia may not be as shocked by this method (like we are) as I believe it's one of their capital punishment methods. I might be totally wrong on that, correct me if I am. Anyway, it's a shame for the family. I saw them on the Today show pleading for the release demands. What will this trigger I wonder, if anything? |

I always have asked myself why some of these people choose to "ride out the store" so to speak, and do not leave the area. I personally would never consider being in a hot zone, even when it's cold. |

| Re: U.S. hostage reportedly beheaded It's all a big hoax. Bush's ultra-top-secret mercenaries staged it, just like they staged Berg's beheading. Arabs never do anything malicious, it is always the Israelies and Americans. Just wait and see, the knuckle-dragging anti-American pinko left wing exstremist liberals will expose this.
They posess far superior intellect, and can see right through anything to uncover the ultra-top-secret Bush mercenaries and their evil.
Oh, it wasn't done in Saudi Arabia either. It was staged at the same secret site in Nevada where the moon landings were faked - which was also done by the Israeli-Bush mob.

Guarantee you there will be a mass Exodus out of there in the next few weeks. |

Saudi Arabia has put out too many terrorists for me to trust them with my equipment if I had a choice. Sorry if that's not PC enough for you sister but that's how it is with me. No apologies.
Who beheaded Paul Johnson? That’s right Nomad Saudi Terrorists.

| Re: U.S. hostage reportedly beheaded That's a little too prejudiced for my tastes. Your assertion that Saudi's are terrorists just doesn't fly in the face of reason... How can you claim a whole country of people being terrorists?
Putting that aside...
Why was Paul in Saudi for a decade? Uh... I was a little confused... did he work on USA's Apache helipcopters as a Lockheed employee or did he work on Apache helicopters belonging to someone else?
At any rate, it sucks that this had to happen. Seems like both sides (terrorists and USA) are not speaking the same language. Or I dunno, maybe neither side is listening. It's a shame that disagreements come to war and beheadings... |

Not judging a whole nation.. but if I were flying an Apache I would want no one but an American servicing it period. Nothing prejudice about it.
If it helps I won't even let a dealer touch my bike.
As far as communicating with these terrorists goes ..if I could push a button and every terrorist would die as a result I would do it in a NY minute. You know where I stand on this stuff and I know where you stand. At some point we need to agree to disagree w/o the potshots (me included). |

See Aussie929's post concerning Moore and you will understand that debate with this person is impossible.
PS - I was stationed in Doha Qatar in Desert Storm. There was a squadron of Canadian Air Force F-18's there, too. They flew about 10 sorties in 6 months compared to our 1000+ during the same time. They hired American civilian contractors to fix their American F/A-18's. The Canadian military is a joke ... at least they were 13 years ago. All the ones I met were more concerned about smuggling in booze so they could get drunk.
I personally don't know why they even bothered having a military.

You perhaps liken maintaining a $100 million dollar attack helicopter to changing the oil in your fireblade? You perhaps think that any untrained monkey can fix the incredibly complicated systems onboard that machine?
I guess they wouldn't need Americans over there to maintain them if they didn't buy American helicopters.
Maybe if Australia had produced a helicopter (or anything else) Australians could work over there, too. |
