| Who hides Top Secret files in their suit, then walks out the door...... of the National Archives?
A top ranking politician, and one involved with a Presidential campaign, that's who.
Question is, what is he hiding, who is he trying to protect, where is the uproar? |

Shouldn't it be in Regional: Canada?

BDA, I just read about this today.. I think there will be a pretty big reaction.
What an idiot ! He just removed one of the few big sticks the dems had to beat Bush over the head with.. the 9-11 commission findings are 'not admissable' now.

| Re: Who hides Top Secret files in their suit, then walks out the door...... A spokesman for the commission stated today that this has no bearing on the results because they already had all of the relevant information...

Now we need a 9-11 commission commission. I hope they let Tennent run it. |

BTW.... it has just been reported that Berger just withdrew his status as "informal advisor" to John Kerry.....
Edit:
Personally, I think there is almost no chance that Berger was deliberately trying to destroy or steal documents, and and even smaller chance that he was providing that information to the Kerry campaign.
What bothers me about this incident is how and why the 9/11 Panel has kept it so secret for so long.....
It also bothers me that Kerry is such a wimp, and gives up on his staff so quickly. If Berger did nothing wrong, why ask him to resign....

| Re: Who hides Top Secret files in their suit, then walks out the door...... Still no reaction, just a blatant disregard for the story by the overly obvious left wing media. CNN, all the NBCs, CBS, ABC? Nope, nothing there. The biggest tabloid in the country - also known as the New York Times? Yeah, right. None of these democrat lap dogs will run the story. Only one news station is staying on top of the story. The only one that shows both sides of issues. The only one with balls, and the only one at the top of the ratings.
Berger knew the law, and intentionally violated National Security. He should be arrested, charged and thrown in prison for committing multiple felonies, just as his former boss should.
Will it happen? Not likely. Not if the liberal left wing democrap lap dog media has their way.
Would the same be happening if Condoleeza Rice had done the same?
Anyone that thinks that answer is yes is very very blind. Just as the media wants you to be. |

| Re: Who hides Top Secret files in their suit, then walks out the door...... Here's a couple questions I've had about the whole ordeal:
1. He took these documents, but were they the originals or only a copy? I find it hard to believe the national archives would only keep a single copy of any documents let alone let people handle them.
2. Some were hand written notes he made while in the national archives. Isn't taking these home with him more of a breech of protocol than hiding embarassing evidence?
3. Supposedly he's been under investigation for months, isn't it odd that this has been leaked to the press only a few days before the 9/11 report comes out, just in time to raise a shadow of doubt on it's credibility? |

2- Yes, some were hand written notes........of top secret documents. Those notes must be cleared before exiting the building, and he intentionally hid them, violating U.S. law.
3- So the FACT that he is a felon and violated national security doesn't matter because of when the info was released?
I guess it's O.K. for the dems to leak info at certain times, but not for anyone else? |

Also I AM SURE he did it on purpose, as even a low grade new co-op knows better than to do what he did.
