Larry Elder is a black Libertarian talk-show host. He writes outstanding columns that I try to read weekly if I can. Here's his latest about his coverage of the DNC:

I don't often read Elder, but that was extremely entertaining. Garafolo is an idiot. I have no idea what makes these xexlebrities think their opinion is any more informed or important than anyone else's.

The condescension of a WHITE liberal berating an African American for holding the 'wrong' political view is totally galling. It's like these people are figuratively holding blacks in a type of philosophical slavery.. unbelievable.

On the other hand, the republicans have yet to do much to break the monopoly.

Have I mentioned that I'd be in favor of a viable third party?

She has to be a guy, because those are some awful big stones to call him what she called him.

As for his opinion, fehh, whatever. One partisan criticising another for their partisanship (went both ways by his account).

For some reason, I find myself reading Foreign Affairs a lot more lately. Ironically, its op's and reports have more bearing on the future course of my life than what one government monkey did to another.
