I am deeply and truly saddened by this

Haven't we as a country gotten above racism yet?? Will we ever get above such an ignorant and divisive idea...If this guy wins in November, may GOD have mercy on EVERYBODY in Tennesee

I had to look it up too. I'm not surprised that there are people out there who believe stuff like that, but I am surprised that the GOP backed him. You would think they would conceed the seat before putting their name behind that guy.

yeah, I think somewhere in the article mentioned that a few of the repubs were having second-thoughts are endorsing this guy....man, I hope so....I guess I am in more shock than anything at the fact that this guy is totally in the open with his racism and he still has garnered almost 7 times the votes as his opponent(although the opponent was a last minute write-in)

oh well, what can you do....maybe he'll suffer the same fate as David Duke did when he ran for governor of LA when November rolls around...
