It's still raining cats and dogs in London in August and I blame the politicians.
(Do you have to blame particular politicians to join the thread, or will "politicians" be acceptable?) |

on the other hand its not necessary to have a car there because its still LEGAL to ride your camel on the highway. |
LOL, Bush claiming God is on his side is reducing our country to their level. In essence he is saying that he is killing in the name of God, just like them. That is sad man. What has our country been reduced to with this guy at the helm in world opinon? How much more can a guy **** up? But save it on this board, I do have too many posts and I'll tell you that you are talking to many brick walls, they'll just reel you in like bait Do yourself and all of us a favor, and just go vote for the other guy. He sucks too but look at the alternative |

Very few have ever given concrete reasons for believing Kerry to be a good choice to lead the country. All I ever hear is "anyone but Bush". While a large number of those are hard-core Liberals, some are those with more moderate points of view. They're going to try and elect an ultra Left-winger to lead our country. Helloooooo socialized medicine and goodbye property rights...
Given the hostility of the race I would expect a large turnout on voting day. |

Now, if you want to talk bad about the Cubs, you're going to have to do it at Wrigley Field where we can drop cement chunks on your head. |

| Re: got a problem with the goverment? Last day of August, London, IT'S NOT RAINING. Oh, and our slower 100m runners beat the US in the relay. Can I rescind my complaints about politicians, they are clearly doing everything right.
Mark Twain used to say that a banker is a fellow who lends you an umbrella, but takes it back from you as soon as it starts raining. |

BTW Old Fogey sun is shining, it's abeautiful day here in Buckinghamshire.

| Re: got a problem with the goverment? Hi Proto, yes the sun is shining in London on this last day of August.
It rained every day of the bank holiday weekend in Yorkshire, especially when we went walking. But not when we were inside the church for the several events of the flower festival, like the saxophone concert by a former member of Supertramp, or the visit up the bell tower to view the bells which (naturally) need money for refurbishment, or the organ concert in aid of the organ fund for its refurbishment. Those old churches, they sure are expensive to run. Worse than bikes? |

| Re: got a problem with the goverment? Oh, and there never was any proof of connection between the Iraqi government of the tyrant Saddam and the mostly Saudi perpetrators of 9/11 of which I am aware.
There is, however, proof of connection between the staff of number 10 Downing Street and the statement issued by Tony Blair in the house of commons which told MPs that Iraq was capable of a launch of weapons of mass destruction within 45 minutes. Which statement persuaded sufficient uncommitted MPs to vote with the Labour government to enable the critical bill to pass. That statement, as we all know now, was and is a load of tosh. |

You're having me on. Next thing you'll be telling that no Weapons of Mass Destruction were found in Iraq. Everyone knows they are there (well BDA knows, but he's not telling).
