| My start into politics I have volunteered to be on the board for my housing association in my neighborhood. Not sure if it's going to be more than I bargained for yet or not, but I'm kinda excited about it. First order of businees is to find a way to get people to obey the posted speed limit of 14mph. We have a ton of little kids, people walking dogs etc, and no sidewalks.

Speed bump are a hot topic right now and no one really wants them. A lot of things have been discussed, but the yelling hasn't been brought up yet. Maybe I suggest it. |

HD | 14? Who picks these speed limits? Not 15mph, no, better make it 14 just to be safe.
Personally, I'm getting tired of ALL these speed changes (in my area). Streets that were once 40, were changed down to 35, and now down to 25. People have got popped for 29 mph. Give me a break. It's getting out of control in my opinion. Pretty soon the sign will read "SPEED LIMIT - Place vehicle in neutral and push your vehicle SLOWLY to the next intersection". The idiots who fly through residential streets are going to do it regardless, now I have to putt around these streets at idle. |

| Re: My start into politics I favour going back to having a person with a red flag preceding each vehicle at walking pace, oh and compulsory hand signals for turns and stopping.
Don't go for speed bumps, when you get to fifty if they give you bumps on your birthday at speed it takes a long time to recover. |
