| Re: And the President is... I am stunned at the 3% margin in the popular vote...
3 Million vote plurality....
Almost no states where Nader can be seen as a "spoiler"....
It's starting to look decisive...
Democrats are really going to have to take a long hard look inward...

| Re: And the President is... Bush is maintaining an ~11,000 vote lead in IA. While it has been consistent for the last bit, it is still up in the air.
He is stretching his lead in NM, and I doubt there are 27,000 votes left to count.
Now that more of NV is coming into play, he is pulling ahead there, but it is way to early there.
And in SD, Daschle's deficit has been very steady, and he looks to be going away.

At any rate, the best news I've read this morning not related to the Presidential race is that Daschle will lose his seat. It's about time. Maybe now the Democrats will choose a Minority Leader that won't uphold Daschle's 60-vote rule. |

I'm not sure how many of them are on the electoral register, but this could be an alternative. I'm not familiar with the density of sheep in Alabama. |

This state is much more close than people think, and our number of votes is really misrepresented in the elections. Most of CA is rural, and republican, but the population centers (the cities) are demos.
This means, the candidates never give a **** about us as we don't matter. Since we are the top ten in just about every measure of production (ag and industry) compared to countries of the world, I think it's rediculous.
The election sucked locally for us. No celebrating here.

Historically TN used to be a huge sheep state but now the western states are the location (plus CO has the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep which are cool to watch climb things)
Beside rumor has it y'all cook sheep

Yeah. I gotta say, the desire to vote against her was one of the reasons I didn't care if I had to wait in a long line. |

She put out some fairly moderate ads in the days before the election, maybe that's the secret. |
