Re: Ashcroft quits!

Been hearing about that since the election. Never fear, his replacement will be villified until they are just as evil (in popular opinion).

Re: Ashcroft quits!

Ashcroft - No scandals, no terror attacks, worked his ass off for the US. Yawn.
Reno - Let's see at the top of her resume we have Waco and then hmmm let's see here oh yes, Ruby Ridge, oh and how could we forget the Elian Gonzalez incident.

You're correct Ashcroft was rather boring compared to his predecessor.

Re: Ashcroft quits!

Looks like Alberto Gonzalez will take the job...

Not surprising that Bush would appoint him because of their ties...but I bet it annoys the hell out of the hard line Conservatives...

Re: Ashcroft quits!

So he'll be promoting a softer, 'see through' treatment for the statues?

You guessed correctly

If my 14YO daughter is thinking about getting an abortion I want to know about it...Alberto doesn't think I'm entitled to that information . As a parent I find that repugnant - been dying to use your word btw

Hey if Schumer is giving the nod something has to be wrong
