I don't know if this has received much media attention in the US, but it's a critical issue to see if the Ukraine heads towards a democratic, capitalist future or heads back into the increasingly autocratic Russian sphere of influence. In the old days, Putin's influence would have been sufficient to have ensured his candidate won. Putin is getting increasingly used to democracy, Russian-style, and clearly hoped it would work in the Ukraine.
It's good to see those people out on the streets and acting to enhance their democratic rights. Looks like the judges are supporting them today.
