I do however think 100% that we do have CIA operatives on the ground there. No doubt about it... |

He'd hate to have his forces stretched trying to cover Iraq and Iran when/if the house of Saud falls. He'll want to swoop in from Iraq and secure the eastern oil fields. |

I'm guessing that is true....the Bushie's certainly are hedging their bets that Europe will act on this issue....

That is a scary thought - the idea of religious zealots in Iraq or elsewhere with their finger on the button, prepared to "do God's will" by doing away with some country that doesn't share their fundamentalist beliefs. I'm not saying we should invade, but doesn't something need to be done about nuclear proliferation? |

I have to take issue with this statement...
You make it sound as if they have their thumbs up their OWN asses. I believe it should read "in each other's asses."
That's all.

Do you think they are still trying to find him, or do they think he's no longer a threat? | I think they're still trying to find him, and I think they think he's less of a threat (right or wrong). How much the Pakistani or Somali (?) or other governments are cooperating (obviously important) is another question. |

Whereas zarqawi was the "go do it" guy.
Dunno. I think presently though the initiative is to rid the world of "states" that knowingly fund terrorism of their means to do mass harm in the way of nukes, chemicals, etc... |
