New US Ambassador to the UN

What do you guys think?

"John Bolton picked to be US Ambassador to
UN— If there was any doubt the Bush administration
means to take on Iran/Syria and anyone else
standing in the way of the Bush doctrine on the
Mideast, that should be gone after Bush named John
Bolton to be the new US ambassador to the UN.
Bolton is an arms’ control expert, and he has criticized
the effectiveness of the UN in the past. In fact,
I do not think there is anyone in the Bush administration
who has been a more forceful critic of multilateral
institutions than Bolton has been. In 1994, he
said, "If the UN secretariat building in New York lost
10 stories, it wouldn't make a bit of difference.” He
has also named North Korea as a problem, supported
regime change in Iran, and pointed to changes in governments
in the Ukraine and South Africa as being
the precursors to those countries getting rid of their
nuclear weapons. You have been warned." - a US friend of mine.
