Yes self protection is paramount as it should be. However we helped free France twice (must have been for the cheese) stopped the Japanese from savaging most of Asia then helped them rebuild and become a peaceful and prosperous nation. Are currently helping to free Iraq and god willing they also will become a prosperous and peaceful nation (they have a lot of potential if history is an indicator), prevented Granada from being taken by a dictator. We have also provided the largest percentage of troups and $$$ to the UN. Not saying we are perfect but if we are your best example of evil consider yourself fortunate.

Running out?

Seems the anti-war folks have been playing the "your just clueless" without any further elaboration card for quite some time now.

Most of them are still desperately clinging to the "illegal war" angle.

Christian fundamentalism? LMMFAO!!! Is that why we're in Iraq? I guess we're just pissed that we took public prayer out of our own schools?

Its actually "Amerikan gunshi, domo arigato".

What do I have to thank the US soldiers for? Please enlighten me. If your going to say its for WWII then dont. Bout time we moved on. Ive never been one to talk down the importance of the US in saving our asses in WWII. If it wasnt for them heading off the Japs at the Coral Sea I would probably have slanty eyes. But come on, that has nothing to do with why the US went to Iraq.

I cant believe that you think Bush gives a rats arse about these people.

Hopefully this time you caught it. Yes they were very much related in the speeches that referred to WMDs that have been misqouted there is also reference to the violated UN resolutions and violated CEASE FIRE of the first gulf war.

Um, actually they are the same war.

Perhaps the term "cease fire agreement" eludes you.

Here, let me help.

Cease fire is a truce between two sides. Each has a stake in it, and each must live up to the agreement. It also does not mean that the war is over. It just means folks ain't shooting at each other for the time being.

Also see "no-fly zones"

You are obviously confusing it with "peace accord".

Why would I give a flying fook about what Russia and France have with Iraq? Why do you? What, was the US jealous that Russia/France got their first and wouldnt let the US join their little party?

As for being a real american. What is a real american? a toothless, narrow minded, self centred, flag waving, cousin humping, gun toting, resource vacuum too stupid to think for themselves? Ill pass thanks. I live in the greatest country in the world, inhabited by the greatest people in the world. Becomming an American is something nightmares are made of.

It's very very simple. Here was your statement, that I quoted:

Quote:
You honestly expect me to believe that you guys give a **** about any other country buy yourselves?
"Us guys" not Bush, is who you were talking about.

The US gives more to opressed peoples than ANY other country. We devote more of our men and women to helping others than any other country. More of our men die in peace keeping than those from any other country. This is putting your money, and your ass, where your mouth is.

During the tsunami relief, there was all this talk of dollars and the US not giving enough...funny, whose equipment was it they were using? While at the same time, the local governments/militaries are firing warning shots and threatening to sue us?

What gives some ignorant, brainwashed person like you the right to say the outrageous things you do? American blood and tax money! Maybe this is what pisses you off so much?

We saved Europe from itself, and the Pacific from the Japanese only 60 years ago. These were our fathers and grandfathers who've told us stories about their friends, other Americans, dying next to them to help others out. Sorry, we aren't going to forget. And neither should you!

People only realize what they have when it's gone.

God help any of the opressed if as the US fades from dominance we're replaced by the Chinese...

Of course he is.

My statement still stands. He is a free man due to the United States of America.

It's there in the history books, and not just the ones written by Americans. It's in the crosses in our military cemetaries. And its shown in shipwrecks at the bottom of pacific islands the men who died there had never heard of...

Come on now. A paragraph like that undermines any shred of credibility you might possibly have. Shall we describe a "real Aussie"? I sure have a lot higher opinion of your countrymen than what you represent.

That was a paragraph?

And since when does CB have so much as a possibility of credibility?

Forget him...maybe some shark will think he's edible or something. Australia supposedly has some big ones down there.
CB, you do like to swim in the ocean, right?

Because we care. We really do. And we care even when it's not easy or popular to care, not just when it's easy or it suits us. Because France and Russia were our biggest opponents. They accused us of colonizing and blood for oil. All the while France was and is the biggest colonizer on the planet. France still does deep sea nuclear testing. And both kept Sadam safe from the UN as long as they could because of all of the blood for oil that they were involved with. And now they are both screaming about getting their rebuilding contracts! Who cares about the Iraqis? They’re just a bunch of lowlife sand trash, right?
NO WAY, THEY ARE HUMAN BEINGS!!!! Or at least Americans think so. Too bad the rest of the world doesn’t.

BTW you just proved that you don't read or comprehend very well. I was saying that, "you can continue to dream of being a real American cowboy". NOT, "you can continue to dream of being a real American, Cowboy".
