| Are the Republicans Panzies or what? Damn. Are these guys idiots or what? The republicans can bring things back to the way they were supposed to be in the first place and they're making deals. I wish these guys would have some stones and do what they have to do. Don't they get that the Dems are just setting them up for the big Judicial Nominee? Make a big deal about these little guys and set the stage for the big fish.
The Dems would not do this and they would have banned the filibuster in a heart beat if they were in the majority. For that I respect them. Never play ball half speed or you'll get hurt. Same goes for politics. These guys were voted in to make a mark for their constituents and so far they have failed miserably.
If your reading this and your a Democrat you should be very proud. Your Senators are doing an excellent job.

'Nuclear Option' Unnerves Some in GOP
The lobs from the two Senate party leaders have been coming fast and furious, but Minority Leader Harry Reid and Majority Leader Bill Frist have apparently been working on a truce behind the scenes.
In private talks, Reid said he was willing to allow two of Bush's seven contested appeals court nominees pass through the confirmation process, but only if Republicans drop threats to ban judicial filibusters.

| Re: Are the Republicans Panzies or what? So far I like Reid...of course, he's a pro-gun democrat which is much closer to my stance than Dubya. Looks like he's proving to be an able politician too. |

| Re: Are the Republicans Panzies or what? Why let something like the Constitution get in the way of the ultra left-wing activist agenda?
Judicial nominees are to have a simple majority according to the Constitution. Yet, like everything else the lefties do, they thumb their nose at our founding document.
At the Federal level, dems are a bigger threat to the United States than any other terrorist organization, period. |

| Re: Are the Republicans Panzies or what? I gave up on both parties. The failure to staff the courts is the least of it. Failure to defend the 1st amendment (campaign finance law, you can wiz on a cross but heaven forbid you should say the name of a political skunk 90 days out from an election). Still failing to honor the 2nd amendment. And failing to defend our borders from the illegal alien invasion (after all cheap labor to mow the lawn is a priority for the cheap lazy SOBs)

Time for a viable third party that will actually have the balls to cut the budget, repeal the 16th Amendment, shrink the government, protect the borders, etc., etc.
