You're not the majority now nor will you be in the next election. The government you voted for isn't even making the calls. You've got Jack asswipe Layton handing out cash so Mr. Dithers can sit on his throne and feign ignorance to all of the corruption a little while longer. Only in Ontario are people still naive enough to support the Liberals. In the next election The libs are gonna lose all of their seats in Quebec, giving the separatists more power and ****ing all of us for another 20 years or so. They'll probably win another (even smaller) minority so get used to elections every 18 months.

| Re: China vs USA Phobe, you don't understand. The libs always think they're the majority and that they own every right to every government position. Same thing that's happening here. They've been losing for years now, but can't seem to figure out the fact that they are the minority, and the majority are sick and tired of them. Every election they lose has to be due to some type of mistake. |

| Re: China vs USA Well in Canada the situation is a little more complicated. We have a multi-party parliament. Right now there are about 100 Conservatives, 130 Liberals, 50 or so Bloc Quebecois (separatists) 17 NDP (socialist) and a handful of independents. So the liberals have the most seats, but they're still a minority government. The conservatives made 4 non-confidence motions to oust them and won all of them. THe liberals just basically said "those don't count, we'll have a confidence motion on our budget and that will count". THey then proceeeded to climb into bed with the socialists and whore their budget to them to the tune of about 5 billion dollars in order to get 17 more votes. Then they bought out a conservative MP and the independents voted with them, so they've hung onto power for a few more months. They think they have some sort of "divine right to rule" because this is Canada and they're the liberals. The biggest problem is that about a third of our population live in Ontario, where the Liberals somehow can do no wrong. Even while the rest of the country (mostly) votes against them, they stay in power because of one province. Imagine that California had more seats in congress than the rest of the USA combined and you'd basically have the same situation as here. I don't think the Libs have won more than a handful of seats in all of western canada for a few decades, but they still get to dish out our tax dollars. **** |
