Just one of the reasons I voted for Bush...

I love it when a leader says what needs to be said in a straightforward manner...

Quote:
Bush Calls Human Rights Report 'Absurd' By TERENCE HUNT, AP White House Correspondent
WASHINGTON - President Bush on Tuesday dismissed a human rights report as "absurd" for its harsh criticism of U.S. treatment of terrorist suspects at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, saying the allegations were made by prisoners "who hate America."

"It's an absurd allegation. The United States is a country that promotes freedom around the world," Bush said of the Amnesty International report that compared Guantanamo to a Soviet-era gulag.

In a Rose Garden news conference, Bush defiantly stood by his domestic policy agenda while defending his actions abroad. He repeatedly pledged to press ahead — "The president has got to push, he's got to keep leading" — despite mounting criticism. [TRIMMED - FULL STORY]

You voted for him because you're in on his ultra-top secret oil system. The one where he personally steals all the oil from anywhere and puts it into his own tanks.

Yeah, easily one of my favorite PR's of the administration.

(not saying much since they usually are rediculous)

I love the fact he snubbed the bullshit Kyoto treaty too.

Bush bum****ed his own economy, not mine. The Liberal Party, under prime minister Jack Layton is working on bum****ing mine.

I'm actually a "tree hugger" of sorts, but that stupid "treaty" is just going to be a tax that empowers and enrichens a few more damned bureaucrats. It's stated improvements are so minor they aren't even 10% of what scientists say we need. Believe it or not, that is the reason the White House gave for rejecting it, and I agree.

Show me a serious, scientifically based world wide plan for conserving the environment, and I'll get excited.

Many who voted for Bush, did so because the alternative was even worse. I didn't vote for him....but I would've considered it had I lived in say Ohio where my vote matters more.
