| The American Taliban Eeeek..... http://www.reandev.com/taliban/
I cant believe these people have a say in the running of the most powerful nation on earth. And you think Christian fundamentalisim dosent exist in high levels of the current (and previous) US government. Pretty scary for a non-christian to read this stuff.
Beyond the scary stuff, separation of the church and state. Thoughts? |

Also it's great how Bush loves to blow up things in the name of freedom and God. |

| Re: The American Taliban Wow the title fits the article 0%. Oh and the greatness of America is you can take those quotes and fold in some socialists, Muslims, Seventh Day Adventists, Catholics, Agnostics, Athiests..... and THAT is who runs the country. In other words yes there are Christian Fundamentalists in the US government just as there is in the population, of course there are MANY other views represented also.

We ALL have a say in the running of this Government, and what we have to say mostly is '**** Off' to bigots of all stripes, whether they hide behind a veneer of religion or are simpleminded secularists who fear and resent religious freedom and expression. Know any? |

Bush is more religious than I prefer our Pres to be. But, if he got too far out of line, he'd be impeached so fast...you know how many democrats are just waiting for him to make a mistake so they could challenge him in court?
Taliban= destroy all Americans, all religious artifacts not part of our religion of hate and oh yeah, women don't get to go to school. Yeah, I can see the connection.
What's sad, is that people are so bored, like the maker of this little gem and cowboy, that they need to find someone to blame their "problems", a term I use very loosely, on. |
