| Re: High court OKs personal property seizures And folks wonder why the second ammendment is there. I would love to sit on a jury of anyone that target practiced any SOB that 'exercises' this state right. The Supreme Court can go f___ themselves and while they are at it quit quoting 'international' sources (not that they did in this case)

| Re: High court OKs personal property seizures Eminient domain abuse has been around for quite a while. One of the worst pushers of the abuse is WalMart. They find a spot they want and get the local governments to steal that land from the rightful owners.
As a land owner, this pisses me off to no end. My land is just that, mine. I will sell it to whom I damned well please, for the price I want to sell it for. I don't need some group of jackasses telling me otherwise.
I'm glad my land is in a residential area rather than an area close to commercial interests.
I'm also glad I live in a state that recognizes personal rights and where there is currently a push to end the abuse in the state legislature. |

| Re: High court OKs personal property seizures that has got to be one of the most mis-guided rulings I have ever seen....This will just make eminent domain ruling even more prevalent...what recourse will homeowners be left with now...wow...another right being taken away.....sad day, indeed....

| Re: High court OKs personal property seizures Agreed, my land is mine. I'm the 5th generation in my town, and this type of stuff hits close to home as the county took my Grandparents' land back in the 70s, tore down their 200 year old historic farmhouse, and put a road through. For "safety and traffic problems" they said. Bullshit. The real reason was what is there now...many office complexes. Now it's a safety and traffic problem. It's all about the ratables and the homeowner be damned. I'm in a residential zone, but it's right next to a business residential zone. They try and take my land and tear down my home and I'll be sitting out there with a shotgun. You'll see me in the news. |
