| Re: FEMA Chief Michael Brown Removed From Katrina Relief Always has to be a scapegoat doesn't there. Oh that is what we need, someone from the "Knee-High" Navy running things. Nice. Let's not fix the process, let's just keep firing and hiring until we get the right recipe.
BONEHEADS!
Put a CHIEF in there and call GOOOOD!

| Re: FEMA Chief Michael Brown Removed From Katrina Relief From the article. "FEMA Director Mike Brown says he doesn't know why he was removed from onsite command of Hurricane Katrina relief efforts."
Either the douche is lying like a rug or he is too stupid to chew gum and sit at the same time. I am leaning towards the latter. |

| Re: FEMA Chief Michael Brown Removed From Katrina Relief Yes...but the battle of public perception has already been won by the left, so at this point it will really be an exercise in window dressing...

It is difficult for people to understand that the government only plays a small supporting role in these types of disasters. State and local preparedness is paramount. If the disaster planning of the local and state governments is deficient, no amount of people and/or money the federal government throws at it in the aftermath will suddenly make things better.
The aftermath is almost entirely dependent upon the preparation and implementation of the disaster plan. |

However, you can't be dumb and pass the BAR.
An attorney is trained to "argue" and "make his case", which is what I was referring to. Not many professions leave you better trained to fight a battle of words. |
