That kind of inane, grade school level horseshit is exactly why I have little respect for the hard lefty's opinion. You think with your heart and not your head, facts play little to no part in your thought process, and critical thought is a lost artform replaced by parroting whatever crap was fed to you by the op-ed page in your local rag.

A superb example is you and CB1600 blithering on about crime rate stats from your country. I believe the reaction I got from both of you halfheads was something along the line of "I don't NEED to refute those numbers, I know what I see with my own eyes", or some incredibly lame comeback like that.

When a piece of evidence is given to show you folks what mind numbed stooges you've become, you attack the author or the source and try to reduce their credibility to zero because you have absolutely nothing to refute their ideas, opinions, or facts with.

It's quite pathetic, really.

Now, I DID appreciate your opening post. Found it to be quite amusing.

But then this kind of tired and terribly worn out garbage had to commence:

Strictly uninformed, and unfounded opinion that can't be backed up by a single fact.

Quote:
Saddam had nothing to do with the Twin Towers.
Perhaps the oldest and most tired liberla autothought still in circulation today. Not even sure why this one still exists, since nobody ever said he did(with the possible exception of the far looney right like Robertson, Buchanon, etc....And I'm not sure even they said it).

Quote:
We're still tying to find THAT guy - and doing a realy shitty job of it.
Quite possibly my all time favorite liberla myth. And why are we doing a shitty job? Because we haven't found him yet. Oh goody, what logic. Oh, I should have actually phrased that as a question. What logic?

Riddle me this, Bacchus. How long did it take for us to find the Unabomber? Nevermind, I'm letting you off easy, the answer is 18 years.

Here was a guy, living in our own country. Not only were almost every law enforcement officers in the country aware of this guys profile, but so was the entire postal system. He had few accomplices and/or sympathizers.

Yet it took 18 years to catch him right here under our nose.

bin Laden is supposedly in a rough, mountainous, area with shitloads of secret tunnels and is a hero in the radical Islamic world and surrounded by hordes of accomplices and sympathizers. He knows this, and he knows the area like the back of his hand. His homefield advantage is staggering.

Wow. Really astounding that he has eluded capture.

Perhaps i'm wrong. Thanks for the link. But my point is the Russians tried to change Afganistan for how many years ? We know the out come. The French tried to change Vietnam for how many years and we tried for how many years . same results. it seems to me to be a huge waste to try and change people that DON"T want change. so tell me how we have helped these people and ours ? i think the French and most of Europe has it right about Saddam, he was in a box with know where to go. Most important no American or Nato soldiers were dying.
Once again JMO- backed up with zero facts. Heaven forbide i have have an opinion without facts and links

So....too bad if you were stuck in the box with Saddam right?

You people love to talk about the Euros having it right, and the financial corruption on Bush's part.

Why don't you ever mention the fact Saddam being deposed cost the Euros BILLIONS of illegally earned dollars, you know, since you seem to be so concerned with the money trail? And of course the countries that lost the most, complained the loudest.

France. Germany. Russia.

Mo, absolutely no chance for any educated debate here. Might as well move along.

Bin Laden has shaved his beard, cut his hair and is now living in Florida sipping Margarita's on the beach; all the while he's probably thinking "Mother ****ers will never look for me here."

Yes please move along . this debate will never be won. You'll never see my point and I'll never see yours.
As far as people dying in Iraq aren't they still dying daily along with Americans and other nations soldiers ? so how is it any better!!
As far as the money trail isn't it a little concerning when Haliburtion wins the contract to rebuild iraq with no other bids ? We won't even mention that Cheney is still on Haliburtions payroll.
Sorry I'm so uneducated but I'm doing the best I can
