I'm hoping that Bushy sends him a mythical Hellfire missile from a mythical Predator as a token of our appreciation...

In all seriousness, this type of rediculous rhetoric from the top if the Iranian government will turn out to be a good thing. It exposes to all their true intentions...and puts pressure on the UN to deal with them concerning their nuclear ambitions. It also puts distance between the old guard, and the young Iranians that want to toss these assholes out and assume a better place in the world...

Especially a country with economic ties to Russia and France, as well as kickbacks to top officials in those countries and the UN?
Yeah, just like they did with Iraq. I agree with you though, that these situations just continue to expose the UN for the worthless POS organization it is.

I didn't say they would actually do anything... But I do feel it will make more people ask just what the phuck the purpose of the UN has become...

The UN could have prevented the Iraq war...they didn't.

The UN can prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power...they won't.

It's the same old story...botched promises and alliances made by Europe bring war to the globe.

You mean the people that are having free elections today? Or the ones no longer being fed into a woodchipper by the dictators sadistic sons. Or the ones that are well on the way to being able to defend thier own borders. Nope you are right they will not be a good ally in the short term. In the longer term they may be allies in the vein of Japan or Germany
