Which ones are the faschists ... the diversity group flying the gay pride banner, or the value people with a questionably religious themed banner

I say freedom of speech and let the people decide ... as long as there are equal freedoms ... that is, let them go up (as long as not threatening or vulgar) or don't let any go up

I would TOTALLY agree if they banned all flags except the USA from school property. However they have not, so to single out one group is wrong (unless they choose a profane flag). Further the image is not a cross merely "looks similar"

According to an interview with the flag's creator, it is in fact a cross (and since the first letter in Traditional is a "T", they're trying to backpeddle as they hadn't counted on the backlash).

I would still not object if it was. This is a student organization not a school class. Also if they are stopping religion they should stop talking of "mother earth" on earth day The reality is the liberal school officials are threatened by the concept which is counter to the socialism spread by the Michigan Teacher's union (and a LOT of other states)

Even if it is, should it matter in determining if a student organization is singled out or not? It is the students, not the school, so the separation issue is really not an issue (didn't the ACLU agree with that in the article, but don't remember exactly).

I just don't like how certain groups can do anything because everyone is afraid to stand up to them, and anything that event hints of a Judeo-Christian affiliation is automatically ruled out.

I went to schools where the Cross or Crucifix was displayed prominently in every classroom and I have no problem with this whatsoever.

What I have a problem with is that the students aren't the ones involved in the controversy and that makes the student organizations just puppets of their moderators and the respective member's parents.

I should also point out that at least 30 percent of the student body proudly display tattoes, body piercings, pants hanging below their underwear etc. and no one seems to have a problem with this.

Make them all wear corduroy pants, white shirts and STFU.
