| Re: Spanish Star-Spangled Banner? I like how these illegals and their protests keep backfiring on them.
They aren't intelligent enough to come up with something that will gain them support among the American people.
Their shennanigans this Monday will further sink their support.
But, since they really have no desire to become American people and part of our culture here it's no surprise. Their true agenda is a "re"conquest of the southwest U.S. to create their own new territory.
Which will then turn to poverty and uselessness as they demand money from the U.S. government.
Go ahead, sing your Spanish version of our national anthem. Watch the demands for border walls and fences increase as well as border security patrols.
The police should be out in force on Monday scooping them all up and putting them on busses. |

| Re: Spanish Star-Spangled Banner? I first heard about this today from a legal immigrant that I work with. I think he's from Trinidad. He said "**** that, learn English" I totally agree with him.
Why don't the french-canadians complain that the Canadian national anthem isn't in french? because that idea is just retarded and even they know it.
Its a national anthem, leave it in the national language.

The only reason it is a question is the liberals that hate our culture and the Republicans that are selling us out to the tide of illegal aliens and their exploiters in big businesses

.... | Our anthem is in French and English, just depends where you are. Both French and English are our official languages. All consumer goods sold here must have labels and owner's manuals in both languages as well. And all government literature has to be in both languages. |

| Re: Spanish Star-Spangled Banner? I believe I read somewhere a few years ago that English is actually considered to be the International language. The article I read stated that all commercial pilots and flight controllers had to communicate in English. Everywhere.
Otherwise it's a Tower of Babel. |

Otherwise it's a Tower of Babel. | True. They have to be able to communicate in English. I've spoken to ATC in Germany, Poland, Czech, France, Italy and Austria in English and ATC in Germany and Austria in English and German. However, pilots of non-international flights don't have to speak English although it's encouraged. You really have to trust ATC when they clear you in a foreign country that they're good at what they do since you won't always understand what some of the other small aircraft pilots are doing.
Nice reference to the Tower of Babel, BTW. Took me a second to make the connection, but it fits. |
