Interesting court ruling in the EU

Personally they should consider themselves lucky I was not elected during my previous write in candidacy The answer seems simple, they can fly over and hold outside US airspace until cleared. Bring extra fuel though since rejection means you do not enter at risk of being shot down

I don't think that's the point of the ruling. It's more of a personal data protection issue. No one is fighting the request for passenger info, they're stuck in the middle of complying with EU laws and US laws. Even before the ruling, both parties had already started working on a solution that will comply with both sets of laws.

I read more about this a little while ago in the International Herald Tribune. Much more detailed article also.

Until the issue is resolved I like my solution. Give them a bit of inspiration to resolve things when the fuel is burning while a bureaucrat expedites things

That's a hell of a lot more than knowing who it is.

Though as said, it really had nothing to do with concerns about the privacy of data transfer.
