We support the troops but

For the "we support our troops but...." folks that were so quick to ask about coverup of the atrocity, the report is out. It seems that the media dog was lying and the soldiers did their job properly, AGAIN

Story from ABC, not exactly a pro-troops haven

Becuase telling Americans and the world that the troops are doing an awesome job helping the people and economy of Iraq or anywhere else doesn't sell papers.

Jackass reporters.

You forgot that most news people are leftist socialists or worse and hate America. They also loathe the military despite the denials. The sad part is that the fine folks in Iraq that ARE showing the restraint that few of us could exhibit are fighting to preserve a place that those morons to spew their trash forth. s.

Re: We support the troops but

In a guerilla warfare scenario, when the combatants are not in clear cut uniforms, or operating in designated "front-line" combat zones, there will almost always be collateral damage in the form of civilian deaths.

When you are exchanging high rates of fire with the enemy, not all rounds will strike intended targets.

This is not the fault of the troops, as they are put into situations where they are doing their best.

I've always believed our government should present these facts as stated, and stand behind them.
