All the above are true statements, and I have personal proof of each. Oh, and yes they use "fake" soc. sec. numbers, and if you're a lucky one, yeah it will go into yours, but on your statements if you notice it, you're defrauding the gov. if you don't correct it.

I believe people have the right to say and do what they want within the law, and that is what I served for. I have the same rights, and may disagree with, say, extremists on either side but I generally don't take it personally.

I regularly see caucasian Americans by the roadside with cardboard signs of "please help" or "hungry". I don't see them in the fields. Conversely, I don't see, say people of color with the signs, but I do see them in the fields. Personal observations here.

Oh, and I laughed when the news broke they were sending "National Guardsmen" to the border, ummm, they've been there in my state for at least a decade.

And lastly, not all illegal drugs are imported. Don't forget, marijuana and methamphetamines, not to mention ecstacy, LSD, and PCP are generated from this here United States. The recent crackdown on ingredients for meth has fueled Mexicos importation and exportation of those ingredients and meth itself recently though.

You're right Scout - people ARE passionate about politics. I have been heavily involved in politics since I can remember. Opinions in the paper, fundraiser dinners, helping out a party HQ on election night, etc... But a funy thing happened - I woke up one day and said "that's it...I'm done". No more stress, headaches, fighting, and back-biting. I also realized something - NO MATTER HOW I FEEL - I CAN'T CHANGE ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So....with that in mind, there is one thing that binds us - our love for our motorcycles. I would ride with CBRVFR and other "commies" (just kidding CBR) any day of the week! Just no politics!!!

Let me add an additional observation- the contractor our housing association hired to rework the condo complex was clearly "implementing" illegals. These guys were NOT hard workers, were NOT careful, and didn't seem at all very skilled. For anyone to conclude that because any of these guys are working in a field, on a site, and any job doing xxxxxxxxx for a slave rate of pay that most self-respecting people wouldn't bother with, they are hard workers has got something coming to them. They're nothing but shady opportunists operating outside the law in a society that unfortunately has tolerated it, under a government that has failed to enforce its own regulations.

If they're hard workers or not, that's an attribute of the individual and not an aspect of where they came from, what race they are, or what they've been through.

My Dad owns a janitorial company. Everyone he ever hired had proper papers. Did he spend thousands of dollars doing background checks on guys working for $8-10 hour? No, he's a businessman and trying to make a living. The very BEST workers he EVER hired were several El Salvadoreans that came here in the 80's fleeing unpleasantness no American has ever had to contemplating living in.

The only native born Americans he ever hired either a) had criminal records (a serious risk when your guys are getting keys and alarm codes to billion dollar semiconductor fabs) or were students (who are the very WORST when it comes to theft).

It's like Jaim and Sheep's bullshit assertion mechanization is the answer. If you think that's true, you apparently have never spent a day in the fields...or cleaning a toilet.

CBRVFR is not spewing any "jack booted liberal" propaganda.

This is a VERY complicated issue, that shooting Mexican men, women, children is never going to solve.

I have a friend, "white American" for all the closet racists that show up in these threads, who started out pushing a broom for $7/hr at construction sites in the 90s. Now he makes good money as a supervisor. But he started where anyone would as a laborer.

Nedro, with your statements above you are trying to insuinuate that because I am a supervisor I am making more $$ per hour. Yes I am. But it did not start out like that, I started working in the tree industry for $3.35 an hour doing the same job these men did for me, so I am not asking them to do any different than I did. Have you done a rate comparison for Texas in that time frame or just shooting your gums again with no earthly idae of what you are talking about? Pay rates are lower in Texas, and with that comes lower property rates, etc, etc....
I have always offered a fair wage, even paying more than the competition because I expect them to work.
I have earned my keep in the industry,and worked hard for it . Have you?

California certainly is NOT - that would be too democratic and free for the state.
