Hopefully it disrupts the foreign terrorists in Iraq and gives the good folks there at better chance at freedom, peace and prosperity.

Re: al Zarqawi killed in airstrike.

I like the fact he will never be able to plot destuction but, I don't like the fact he is now a marter. I my opinion he got out easy. A life sentence in the dungen would be better suited, let him and his memory fade with time, not go out with a bang and spark more discontent. But, well done all the same.

Re: al Zarqawi killed in airstrike.

Agreed LucidDream

But pretty much the fact that his own folks gave him up, shows just how weak they are becoming. Iraqi citizens are truning against the insurgancy, the insurgents are turning against the insurgancy. It's still going to take decades, but at least this is a major first step....

Yep but he is not the only leader we have killed (despite the lack of reporting) so the group they have to pull from is fewer and less talented all the time. Also as pointed out he was turned in and the local folks are realizing that he is the enemy not us. Of course the government is forming and is looking like it might even be decently balanced. Great works by all the guys and gals in the military despite the bast###s in DC and the slimey reporters that dwell on bad news while not reporting good news they are getting a ton done and everyone will be better for it (except the murderous thugs)

God bless F-16s and a half ton of death!!!! I'm sure that was a good morale boost for the troops over there. Rock on armed forces! For all you current, and former, military guys I really appreciate what you are doing and have done for our country.

Hmmmm,
If we keep making steps like this, we may see a moto GP track somewhere in the middle east....
