We were exempt as a small business before I sold the baking operation and just went to manufacturing and freezing. I haven't heard of any retail or grocery-sized operations being hit with that yet. Probably required on a new tunnel oven, though. Thanks for reminding me to stay out of that sandbox. |

Blueberries, raspberries and strawberries are still being picked. Butterflies, dragonflies and even mosquitoes are still flitting about the countryside.
Swallows, blackcaps and chiffchaffs have stayed in Britain for the winter. Lawns need cutting, sheltered trees are still in leaf, thrushes and blackbirds have started to sing. People in Central London yesterday were walking around in short sleeves and pavement cafés were as busy as summer.
| Is this the case your side of the pond too? We haven't even put our central heating on at home yet, well occasionally maybe, but it's normally working full bore from early October. No frosts yet either. Anyone want to buy some heated grips? Autumn blows a raspberry at all thoughts of a big freeze - Newspaper Edition - Times Online |

Damn meterologists have only had about 50 good years of weather data. And even less time to study global effects of weather, water, and sun interaction. We are far from fully understanding all we need to, to make an educated prediction on anything weather related.
If all these people screaming the "Earth is warming up, how do we stop it?" Would instead say. "Lets clean up our air and water so we don't die from pollution." Then maybe all the worry would be justified. |

Is there areas that got worse not better, yes. But if people are rational on the topic I generally support things that will improve the environment

He took on a critic of the information as well, pretty cool.
He also mentioned 2 of the leading scientific magazines in the US said there was no debate about this. |
