As long as we have the electoral college it would be stupid for the democrats to back him.

Personnally, the guys seems to be hiding something. I have yet to see him a venue where he was asked hard questions about what he does and does not believe in. Or asked some tough questions about solutions he would consider for various problems. He seems to be a media darling and as such has been given a pass on actually stating anything worth listening to.
