The AOL Saga continues.
So aol requires you to have an IP Address that they can reverse lookup to verify its a legit IP. Okay. we got that fixed all better right, wrong. Seems one of our stupid salesmen took their work laptop home hooked it up to their highspeed internet with no firewall got a bunch of viruses and spyware (I can only guess by looking at porn) that in turn sent hundreds of spam emails to aol and now they have blocked us. So now I have filled out all of their shitty little forms to get us whitelisted again and there is NO ETA as to when that will happen....

implement a policy as soon as they connect to you network you scan their system with a virus scanner, rootkit scanner, spyware scanner if you find anything at all don't let them connect that might help if they take the labtop home again sometime soon. (I'm not a network admin but just my

Pissed me off today? Just bought a new bike. 166 miles on it. On the way home, got a nice sharp rock to go through the rear rubber to the belting. brand new and already have to replace a tire!!

I had an appointment 80 miles away, being that my bike is my only transportation, I rode. On my way home, about 40 miles out, it starts pouring. I decided since I wouldn't get back out to stop and get some beer. The store is about 5 miles from home. Barely got my case of beer to fit in the camelback I had on, zipper wouldn't zip, **** inside got wet. It started hailing for the liquor store all the way home, there was about 1/2 inch on the ground within my five mile ride. My leather jacket is soaked through, the only thing dry is my head, from the helmet, and my feet, gotta love goretex.
