My bike is my only trans, my car is busted. I had a job interview today and had to leave the house while it was hailing out. I rode in the rain the whole way. Job starts tomorrow, it has been snowing since I got home, and is supposed to snow/rain and thunderstorm all day tonight and tomorrow.

That sucks. I do love Colorado though so it is a tradeoff that I would be okay with.

the kids got out of school for the summer last friday. they are going to their dad's for the next 6 weeks this friday. in an effort to save myself the $180 to put them both in daycare for the week, I figured i would try to keep them home with me - and still get work done. Monday and Tuesday were great. Easy days as I was able to get most of my stuff done on the computer at home and the stops we had to make at the courthouse were really short. Today... yea, that's a different story. Got a call this morning from a client who needs me to do something in a county with only a few records available online. So I'm gonna have to pay for them to go to daycare or suffer them destroying a county archive.

I would go with the destroy the archive, you don't have to clean up that mess and it won't cost you any extra.

It costs me $375.00 for one child per 5-day week...

That is what pissed me off today...

Fewer months, really...I do have 2 kids...I think I could buy a new 600 every 4, a new 1k every 5 and a half, and a 'busa every 6 or so...What a waste...
